Planting new fruit trees

This past weekend between a rain and another we finally found the time to plant 9 out of 11 trees (4 drill collars and 5 in vase) bought now more than a month ago at a nursery in Stella (SV).

Three Kiwi (Actinidia), two apple trees ("limoncello" and another that was a name invented because they did not know the exact name), a "martina" peer trees, a persimmon, an apricot and plum.

We tried to plant as much as possible of them on the slopes both at south of the house then immediately in front of that, and more in the olive grove. We hope that they root well. The Kiwis, after a long thinking of Brunella it has lit the decisive lamp, we have instead placed them between the vegetables garden and the garden above, in order to allow them to grow as a pergola. We hope they settling well ... the ground is good, maybe the exposure is a little sacrificed, but we could not find a better place.
